Beyond The Pitch - Michael Essien

Tuesday, September 21, 2010

listen

Phil and Anthony are joined by football superstar Michael Essian to discuss the importance of Peace Day as he has been named the Peace Ambassador for his native Ghana. By all means support the Michael Essien Foundation as well as the Year of Peace and Security in Africa. Michael also takes some time with us to discuss the current season with his professional club Chelsea, an outlook on the Champions League and a brief reflection on The World Cup this past summer. This is a wonderful chance to get to know more about one of the finest players in the game today, a fabulous footballer but an even better person when you get to meet him.
