Anto is joined by Pablo Miralles of Arroyo Seco films to discuss his ambitious independent film - Gringos At The Gate - which tackles all the competitive and cultural issues involving what may be the most under-appreciated rivalry in international football, the US-Mexico rivalry. We talk about the split in the Latin community along the generational gap as well as take a trip along the history of football in the United States - including the ill-fated NASL and now the emergence of MLS with a demographic shift in its corner. Just two guys talking Mexican and US Football with an eye toward the history, a chat about the Azteca and what all of this means in the future of this region. Whether you know the history of not, this film project needs the community to help with funding and we hope our listeners get behind the project. Just great football talk.
